Christian Ditter

Christian Ditter is a German writer-director based in Los Angeles and Munich.

His films put ordinary people into outsized situations, without losing sight of the small, real feelings underneath.

“I grew up on movies that shaped who I am. I want people to walk out of the theater feeling like, if that person on the screen can do it, I can too.”

He wrote and directed Momo, the English-language adaptation of Michael Ende’s novel, starring Martin Freeman. He directed the pilot of the Apple TV+ mystery comedy Where’s Wanda? and returned for its second season, and created, wrote, and served as showrunner on the Netflix series Biohackers. His feature films include How to Be Single, starring Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson, and Love, Rosie, starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin. He studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich.
